4th Annual Rally for the Cure Tennis Weekend

Friday, June 1st and Saturday, June 2nd, 2012

All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

Join us for our 4th Annual Rally for the Cure weekend, which has grown to be the largest Rally tennis event in the country!  Tennis celebrity Murphy Jensen will be on hand both days for encouragement, coaching and lots of laughs.  The tennis is for girls only, but the Center Court Slam cocktail party is the largest tennis social event of the season - for guys and gals!

Friday, June 1st  - Ladies "Pinks vs. Whites" Team Competition

The first day of competition is a multi-level round-robin, changing partners every round. All games count toward your team's total. You will be notified of your play time and team affiliation at least one week prior to the event.  The "Pink" team members will be asked to wear a pink top or dress and the "White" team members will be asked to wear white for Friday's matches only.

• 11 - 1:30 am          Second Flight Round-Robin
• 12:30 - 2 pm          Buffet Luncheon
• 1:30 - 2:30 pm       Fashion Show & Speakers
• 2:30 - 5 pm            Third Flight Round-Robin

Saturday, June 2nd  - Ladies Doubles Tournament

You and your partner will stay together today and compete in a level-specific doubles tournament. Attire of any color - coordinate with your partner!  Don't worry if you don't have a partner - we can match you up with someone of your level!  Return in the evening for a lovely cocktail party, tennis exhibition and auction.

• 8:30 - 11 am           3.5 Doubles Play
• 11 - 1:30 pm           3.0 & 4.5+ Doubles Play
• 1:30 - 4 pm             4.0 Doubles Play

Saturday, June 2nd - Center Court Slam Cocktail Party

Invite your spouse and friends to this social event of the season!   The dress is "summer chic" with a pink twist!  The Broadmoor will be serving up festive drinks and wonderful hors d'oeuvres while you enjoy the gorgeous view Bid on fabulous live and silent auction items including trips, meals, tennis equipment, wine and lots more!

• 7 - 7:45 pm           Tennis Exhibition by Murphy Jensen and Local Pros
• 7:45 pm                 Awards
• 8 pm                      Live Auction.  Silent Auction Closes

Registration Information

The field of players is limited to 72.  Play is on both days.  If you are unable to play on Friday, you may find a substitute to play for you, but registration fee will not be reduced. 

• Two-Day Tournament & Social Activities:   $185 per person by April 18th  ($225 after April 18th)

• Players may add a spouse for an additional $60 if registered by April 18th. 

• Cocktail Party Only:  $80 per person or $140 per couple.
