545105-Laundry Distribution (May 1st Start Date)

Pick-up and deliver linen to the hotel on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Conducts inventories from housekeeping linen rooms daily
  • Prepares orders of clean linen from inventories to be delivered back to linen rooms.
  • Places clean linen on the shelves in an orderly manner
  • Collects all dirty linen throughout the hotel and bring back to the plant for processing
  • Picks up warehouse orders as needed               

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Colorado Drivers License

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The employee is occasionally required to push and/or pull 100+ pounds with assistance.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision and Ability to adjust focus.
