High-Speed Wired & Wireless Internet Access
We offer both wired and wireless Internet access in the meeting areas including Broadmoor Hall. Free public Internet wired and wireless is 1 Mbps per device.
Public and static IP addresses are available if required with advance notice. Our network backbone is built on multimode fiber optics with gigabit switching technology. We have an intrusion detection and prevention system in place to help prevent attacks and vulnerability exploits from external Internet sources.
Internet Service Provider & Special Services
Our connection to the Internet is a multimegabit fiber optic connection. The uplink technology is typically referred to as Metropolitan Ethernet. We review and adjust the bandwidth annually to meet the needs of our customers. The systems that manage guest and meeting connections will allow up to 2,000 concurrent connections. We have 1 system for convention areas and 1 system for guest rooms and adjacent lobbies. We also have a separate multimegabit Internet feed available in the meeting areas including Broadmoor Hall that we use to fulfill custom or dedicated network requirements.
In-House Technical Support
Technical support and services are provided by Broadmoor Hotel employees. Our hours are 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., 7 days per week. We also offer computer equipment rental through internal Broadmoor resources.
Cell Phone Service
There is cell phone service available in all our meeting rooms. All of the major cellular carriers have onsite macro towers and AT&T has a Distributed Antenna System.
