These Boots Are Made For Wading

A Fly Fishing Retreat for Women

June 7 & 8, 2024
July 19 & 20, 2024

“These Boots Are Made for Wading” is a Women-Only, fun, interactive immersion into the sport of fly fishing for every level – from the total beginner through the most experienced angler. Partnering with the Number One name in the sport, Orvis, you’ll begin with a welcome reception where we describe all that’s available to do. We’ll introduce you to our skilled professional guides, answer your questions, and most of all make you feel comfortable and at home.

Learn the art of fly casting from an expert, then put your skills to the test on our five miles of private waters along the Tarryall River with one guide for every two participants. Understand the river’s unique ecology with a skilled entomologist. Take a class in fly tying. Hike the winding trails of the Lost Creek Wilderness. Enjoy an interactive cooking demonstration, and at the end of the day relax on the expansive deck of the Main Lodge with a glass of wine.

Find out for yourself why Sunset Magazine named The Broadmoor Fly Fishing Camp “The Best Western Fishing Experience” of 2018 by joining us for “Boots.” Truly unique, and tailor-made for women, you’ll learn, relax, make new friends and share laughs along the way. It’s an authentic Rocky Mountain adventure unlike any other.
