Adventure Itinerary

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT THE RESORT
Upon arrival at The Broadmoor, you will enjoy a warm welcome at the reception desk. After our porters escort you to your guest room, suite or cottage, you can start exploring the resort.
 
  • Stop by Broadmoor Outfitters and let our expert guides set you up with fun activities like Wild West Experience (including archery and tomahawk throwing), guided mountain biking or hiking trips, or something completely different like Falconry.
  • Recharge between activities with a fresh, organic meal at Natural Epicurean.
  • Embark on a rock climbing adventure, with options available for every skill level (including beginnings). All-Day climbing trips are also available for experienced climbers at some of the best locations on the Front Range.
  • Enjoy a little pre-dinner relaxation with a dip in one of our indoor or outdoor swimming pools, or unwind in a whirlpool while taking in stunning lake and mountain views.
 
EVENING
After a full day of activities, enjoy a relaxing dinner at the Golden Bee, The Broadmoor’s 19th century British Pub (featuring an extensive collection of English and Irish drafts), or head over to PLAY for retro Americana favorites. Explore a menu infused with elements of global cuisine, nostalgic cocktails and enjoy fun games including bowling lanes, shuffle board table, pool, and more.
 
DAYS 2 & 3 – VISIT FLY FISHING CAMP 
For the ultimate Colorado Adventure, reserve you 2-night stay at our private Fly Fishing Camp, located among five miles of private river bordering the Lost Creek Wilderness. Here, you’ll enjoy the Resort’s signature Forbes five-star service, including the assistance of professional guides and Broadmoor chefs.
 
  • Enjoy some of the best fly fishing in the country as you seek out wild brown and brook trout with nymphs or dry flies with the assistance of our professional guides.
  • Choose from a variety of additional camp activities including horseback riding, scenic hikes, lawn games like horseshoes and cornhole, or bird watching.
  • After your adventure, head over the Main Lodge and grab a beverage on the porch along with some delicious, mountain-inspired appetizers.
  • Spend boths nights in one of seven authentic miners’ cabins, dating back to the 1940s—each reimagined with modern comforts and Western-style décor.
 
EVENINGS
Our on-site Broadmoor chefs offer a distinctive dining experience at Fly Fishing Camp, where every meal features ingredients grown, caught or raised locally. Meals are served in the Main Lodge. After dinner, enjoy s’mores over the campfire and share stories under the stars.
 
 
DAY 4 – RETURN TO THE BROADMOOR
After enjoying a hearty breakfast from our Broadmoor chefs, we’ll return you to the main resort, where you can embark on yet another Western-inspired adventure or explore some of our award-winning programs
 
  • Enjoy a golf outing on one of our championship courses or pick up rackets at the tennis center and hit the courts for a fun game of tennis or pickleball. Match-arranging tennis services and professional golf or tennis lessons are available.
  • Go on a private guided mountain bike ride through the Garden of the Gods and discover Colorado’s diverse terrain.
  • Climb Seven Falls to see Colorado’s most magnificent waterfall, and if you’re feeling especially adventurous, try out the zip lines at The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure.
  • After a few days of adventure, let the experts at The Spa ease tired muscles with a deep tissue massage. 
 
EVENING
Make a reservation for your final dinner at Ristorante Del Lago and end your Broadmoor experience with authentic Old World dining in a stunning restaurant envisioned by celebrated designer Adam D. Tihany.
