The addition of Cadillac’s luxury fleet of vehicles perfectly complements the guest resort experience.”

History Behind the Partnership

The relationship between The Broadmoor and Cadillac began over 100 years ago when The Broadmoor’s original founder, Spencer Penrose, purchased 50 “sightseeing Cadillacs” for the resort. Known as “Gray Line Touring Cars” these fleets of limousines from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s were once billed as the largest private Cadillac fleet in the world. The Broadmoor’s signature 1937 custom-made Skyview Cadillac was part of the original fleet that served the hotel through the 1950’s. The Broadmoor’s 1937 Skyview Cadillac has been meticulously restored to mint condition and is on display at the resort, available for special events and weddings. The vehicle features a “Skyview” removable canvas top and flathead V-8 motor. Read more in the Broadmoor Magazine.
