The Broadmoor Invitation

Dating back to 1921, The Broadmoor Invitation continues the tradition of hosting premier amateur players throughout the country. In addition to a championship tournament environment, players and their spouses/guests will experience all of the amenities and activities that this world-class destination has to offer, as well as participate in exclusive social events.  The 2025 Invitation will be held July 20-25 and promises to be another wonderful week.

The tournament format is a four round, Four-Ball Stroke Play (one better ball of the two-man teams). Teams will pre-determine at application which flight they want to play in based on course yardage. The Champions Flight will play at approximately 7,100 yards, (the overall Broadmoor Invitation Champion team will come from the Champions Flight), the Traditions Flight will play at approximately 6,500 yards and the Legends Flight will play at approximately 6,100 yards.  (Note: to qualify for the Legends Flight, each player must have a cumulative age and handicap of 70 and above). The Honors Flight will consist of one player from the Legends Flight and the other player from the Traditions Flight, allowing the team to play from different sets of tees. New for 2025: with an anticipated wait list for the tournament, handicaps will be reviewed for the application process only, all play will remain from scratch in all flights (no handicapping).

The Broadmoor Ladies Invitation

From 1942 until 1997, The Broadmoor Ladies Invitation hosted amateur players from around the country. On September 7–10, 2025, this tradition resumes as The Broadmoor welcomes lady amateurs from across the nation for the return of this historic tournament. With just 40 two-lady teams, participants will have the opportunity to compete against similarly qualified players on the famed East and West Courses.

The tournament format is a two round, Better - Ball Stroke Play (one better ball of the two-lady teams). Both Gross and Net prizes will be awarded within the flights. Teams will pre-flighted based on combined handicap indexes of the team. (The maximum handicap allowed for a player is 22).
