With seasoned Broadmoor chefs at the helm and fresh, classically-inspired meals included in your stay, dining at Cloud Camp is a culinary delight. Rouse at the crack of dawn and watch the flag-raising with a piping hot cup of coffee and pastries, fresh from the kitchen. Breakfast and lunch are more casual and revolve around the activities arranged for the day. Enjoy lunch either in the dining room or on the wraparound patio overlooking The Broadmoor and the Plains far below. The patio is also an ideal place to sip creative libations or huddle by a campfire while roasting s'mores and soaking in the beautiful scenery.

After working up an appetite, enjoy the haute dinner cuisine around the elegant long table of Cloud Camp, which serves as a reflection of the life and times of Spencer Penrose during the Golden Age of the 1920s. Mr. Penrose’s penchant for fellowship and celebrating with guests is exemplified by the hand-hewn communal table where the tales of the day are shared over dinner with fellow guests. Cloud Camp’s evening Cooking Club is a wonderful time to wind down and learn something new while expanding your culinary repertoire. Our humble efforts are to preserve the past traditions and the camaraderie fostered by the shared experience.

Night One | Arrival & Brisket Foundations

Begin your Cloud Camp stay with a welcome reception featuring bourbon-forward cocktails and panoramic mountain views. As the sun sets, gather for an interactive brisket prep class led by Chef Andres - setting the stage for the feast to come.

Night Two | Fire, Flavor & Fine Whiskey

The main event unfolds outdoors as Chef Andres takes to the Green Eggs to prepare a whiskey-rubbed barbecue dinner. Throughout the evening, enjoy guided whiskey tastings and an introduction to the fundamentals of distilling with local master distiller Michael Myers of 291 Whiskey, including stories behind the craft and the spirit.
