SECRETS OF BOTTLE ALLEY: THE MOST FAMOUS HALLWAY IN THE BROADMOOR
One of the most famous (some say infamous) collections of The Broadmoor is the display of pre-World War I liquors from the private cellar of The Broadmoor’s founding father, Spencer Penrose.  The collection includes some of the rarest and finest spirits ever produced. Located just off the lobby of Broadmoor Main, and next to La Taverne restaurant, you’ll find the collection preserved as-is in order to maintain the historic integrity. It is well known that The Broadmoor was never dry during Prohibition as Mr. Penrose was one of the country’s leaders in fighting for the repeal of the Volstead Act.
