Fly Fishing Camp

Dining

At Fly Fishing Camp, dining is an interactive experience, shared with others who love the mountains, the river and the thrill of casting a line. The team at Fly Fishing Camp create wholesome, hearty meals that are prepared with care, laughter and love – along with a little help from our guests, if they want to join in. Everything is grown, caught or raised locally; everything is fresh. It’s the perfect complement to preparing for a day on the river or sitting around a campfire trading fish tales.

Meals will be served in the Main Lodge starting with dinner on the day of arrival and ending with breakfast on the day of departure. Social Hour starts in the Main Lodge at 6pm nightly, and beverage service is available until 10:00 pm nightly. Breakfasts are hearty and typical ranch style, with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and specially prepared granola by The Broadmoor culinary team. Lunch is designed to let you relax, sit outside and soak in the scenery, or grab a seat at the community table for a variety of offerings that change with the season, from hearty homemade soups and burgers to lighter fare for our warm summer days like salads and sandwiches. If you’ve got special dietary requests, we can do that, too.

When the shadows of late afternoon fall across the waters of the Tarryall, come in and grab a beverage on the porch and enjoy a fun array of mountain-inspired appetizers. Then, sit down to a hearty dinner of trout, meats, salads and freshly baked bread. Finish it off with an after dinner drink and some tasty desserts like cast iron cobbler, or do S’mores over the campfire and under the stars. Even kids can enjoy meals we’ll gear specially for them.
