Elk Glade Cattle Drive

City Slicker Experience

We invite you to enjoy a memorable adventure of herding cattle on horseback, all while taking in the crisp mountain air and views of pristine canyon land. Founded in 1888, the 3,200-acre valley is noted by the Sierra Club as the largest canyon system without roads from Wyoming to New Mexico. The East Beaver Valley, on the slope of Pikes Peak, is covered in wildflowers and bordered by brilliant pink granite cliffs.  The mountains give way to a valley filled with bubbling streams and open meadows of pine, spruce and aspen. The Elk Glade wranglers work hard to provide an action-packed cattle drive experience on the Elk Ranch. This activity does require an additional fee.
