Employment at The Broadmoor, one of the few Five Star, Five Diamond resorts in the country, will provide you with the opportunity to take advantage of our extensive training programs and classes. Some of the classes and workshops include:

New Employee Orientation

This two day program covers The Broadmoor’s mission and philosophy, the basics of guest service and what it means to be Five Star, Five Diamond as well as basic policies. New Hire Orientation is designed to prepare you for a successful career at The Broadmoor.

Keeping The Stars

This half-day guest service workshop focuses on the hotel’s ratings and the importance of going above and beyond our guests’ expectations. Employees participate in role-plays, group activities, and games to learn how the different departments work together to deliver Five Star Five Diamond service.

Divisional Workshops

Broadmoor staff members enjoy a variety of customized in-department programs designed to deliver service standards in new and creative ways to keep them fresh for employees; using games, role-play scenarios and guest feedback to lay common ground between the standards and real-life interactions with our customers.

Train The Trainer

This interactive class is designed to give trainers the tools to deliver effective training methods through interactive training exercises and demonstrations. Once an employee has completed this class, an on-the-job training assessment is required for the successful achievement of the Broadmoor Departmental Trainer certification.

Leadership Training

Leadership training at The Broadmoor is not just a class or a set of classes, but an approach that shapes our organizational culture. We provide a comprehensive training program that offers a basic understanding of supervision skills, consistency in management practices throughout the hotel, and personal and professional development.
